Last updated: 20 August 2026. This policy explains how Trenify P.S.A., ul. Półwiejska 17/26, 61-888 Poznań, Poland, KRS 0001027160, VAT ID PL7831877152 („we") handles data in the CaseTwist mobile game and on this website.
The game needs no registration, no account and no sign-in. Your case progress and the text of the answers you type never leave your device. There are no ads, no profiling, and we do not sell any data.
To learn which questions are too hard and where players abandon an investigation, we collect anonymous gameplay data through Google Firebase Analytics:
The text of your answers is never sent to analytics — only whether an answer was correct. Nothing is tied to a name or an account, because there is none; Google assigns the installation an anonymous identifier that disappears when you uninstall the app or delete your data.
Google Firebase Crashlytics collects the error trace, device model and OS version when the app crashes. Without it we do not know something is broken.
Your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, GPS location, advertising identifiers (on iOS we do not collect the IDFA and never show a tracking prompt), the content of your answers, or any payment data — this version of the game has no purchases.
Google Ireland Limited (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics). Data may be processed outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses. That is the only processor in this version of the game — we use no advertising services, no attribution networks and no third-party answer-checking provider.
Progress: on your device, until you delete your data in-game or uninstall the app. Analytics: 14 months (the retention period set on our Google Analytics property). Crash reports: 90 days, the Firebase Crashlytics retention period.
This website itself collects nothing: no analytics, no cookies, no tracking scripts. Fonts are served from our own server, so no request goes to a third party. The sign-up field on the home page is not connected to any mailing list yet — nothing you type there is sent or stored anywhere.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).
To delete everything the game has stored about you: Settings → Delete my data. This clears progress, settings and scheduled reminders from the device. Uninstalling the app does the same and additionally invalidates the anonymous analytics identifier.
Because we keep no accounts, we cannot connect an emailed request to a particular installation — we hold no data that would let us find you. That is a deliberate privacy trade-off, not an oversight.
The game deals with adult themes (lying inside a relationship, gambling addiction) and is not directed at anyone under 16.
We will announce material changes in the app or on this page. Questions and requests: contact@trenify.org.
